We had a great Easter, and enjoyed going to church as a family! Obviously, Isaac does not yet understand the real meaning and significance of Easter; although, it is our prayer that it will one day touch his heart.
This Easter, Isaac (33 months old) got to participate in Easter egg hunts at his preschool and at Grandad and Mimi's church. He had lots of fun, and of course, loved the sweet treats he got!!! At the church egg hunt, Isaac found a see-through egg that had a blue toy truck in it. It was one of the first eggs he picked up and he was ready to stop hunting eggs and just play with his new truck. It was pretty funny! We all had to encourage him to continue hunting! He also got excited when he found eggs with money in them! Smart boy!
Isaac was scared of the Easter bunny, so we did not attempt to get a picture made with him. He was also apprehensive about the Easter bunny coming into his room while he was sleeping.
It was my intention to get a family picture after church on Easter Sunday. However, Isaac fell asleep and it just didn't happen. Oh well, we had a wonderful Easter, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ!
