A Time of Thanks With Adam's Family

We had a great Thanksgiving!  It all started with the whole Wallace crew.  We gathered at Sterling and Karen's house the Saturday before Thanksgiving!  We enjoyed a yummy meal and good family time.  Of course, Isaac pretty much just ate the rolls, and Eli ate anything in front of him. The entire Wallace crew was there, as well as, RG and Nanny, Scott and Suzanne, Auntie M and Lexi, and Grampie and Grandmama.  Isaac especially enjoyed playing in the basement with his cousins, and Eli seemed to be most content sitting in RG's lap.  Isaac still talks about how Christopher said "Yum, yum, yum" when he was eating a raw carrot after his mother said she didn't think he liked them.  Isaac thought that was so funny for some reason.  We enjoyed the rest of the weekend spending time at Grampie and Grandmama's and going to church with them.  We really value our time with family, and want to cherish every moment!!!!

Trick-Or-Treat

Fall is here!  The temperatures are cooler and the leaves are bright and beautiful!  Our boys have loved being outside this fall!

On the Friday before Halloween, Isaac class at preschool had a party! He got to dress up for it, and as you can see from a picture below, most of the boys dressed up as super heroes!  He got to paint a pumpkin, also as pictured below!  He did a great job, and made it real colorful!  The boys also had a visit from Grampie and Grandmama on the Sunday before Halloween.  They brought both boys a gift and some Teddy Grahams for the boys to share!  It was fun hanging out with them!

It was pretty chilly on Halloween night, but that didn't stop the fun!  This year, Isaac, Eli, and I went trick-or-treating with his buddy Lukas's family.  We went all over our neighborhood.  At first, Isaac and Lukas were really shy and hesitant to go to each house.  Lukas even turned down candy at the first house because he was being so shy.  After a few houses, Spiderman (Isaac) and Woody (Lukas) were racing to each house, and seemed to get the hang of things!  Eli was a cute little pumpkin.  His little bottom would waddle when he walked.  Since it was so cold, I kept him in the stroller, but he seemed to enjoy looking around at all the other trick-or-treaters.  He didn't even seem to mind wearing his gloves until I took them off for him to eat a snack.  Once he realized they could come off, he was done wearing them.  We had planned to attend Harvest Fest at our church afterwards, but Isaac and Lukas were having so much fun, we decided just to keep on trick-or-treating.  We missed Daddy though as he had to work out of town.  Overall, we had a fun Halloween!  I just had a difficult time getting a good picture of the boys together because Eli is so busy (it's hard to catch him looking at the camera).
