We went as a family this year to the Jackson's Orchard before Halloween so we could pick out a pumpkin and let Isaac have a new experience. Isaac loved it! We explored a corn maze, looked at all the pumpkins in the pumpkin patch, checked out the tractor, threw rocks into the pond, slid down the "cider slider," looked at the farm animals, and played in the tire obstacle course. It was nice just being outside, enjoying the country, and being together! Isaac's favorite part of the trip was definitely going down the big slide ("the cider slider"). He didn't enjoy anything as much after going down the slides, because he kept wanting to go down the slide more. We bought some apple butter, homemade jam, apple cider slush, and a caramel apple while we were there. Overall, we had a great experience, and hope to do it again for many years to come!
