Isaac's 3rd Birthday Celebration!

Isaac had a wonderful 3rd birthday celebration. This year, with baby boy scheduled to arrive on July 8th, we decided it would be best to celebrate Isaac's birthday early this year, so he could still have a party. We had a family party at Grampie and Grandmama's house this year, and the theme was dump trucks. With it being July, we anticipated it to be extremely hot on the day of the party, so we planned to have a little pool and sprinkler out for the kids. Well, the weather did not cooperate fully, and it rained. This didn't seem to slow down the kiddos any or ruin their day. They had a great time just playing inside and being with the family.

We started the party by eating some yummy food...pizza, chicken fingers, fruit/ veggie trays. We had little dump truck toys full of candy (M&Ms, hershey kisses, oreos, and Starburst) for decoration. Following the meal, we let Isaac blow out the "3" candle, we all ate some cake and ice cream, and Isaac opened his gifts. He got so many cool toys! We are thankful for our family, and appreciate all they do for us!

Later on in the day, the sun finally came out. Those who were still there, went outside to visit, as the men played corn hole and the kids got in the kiddy pool and played with Isaac's new toys. Isaac was starting to struggle a little because he did not have a nap all day, but he was having such a great time. He and Christopher were just going non-stop. Later, a family friend brought over an inflatable bouncy castle, which the kids loved! Isaac, Christopher, and Jenna, along with a few adults got to enjoy the bouncy castle, and had a blast!

Isaac had such a great time! He was telling the guests as they left to come to his birthday party tomorrow. I guess he thought we were going to do this everyday. Even though he is still technically two, he tells people he's "free" meaning 3. Isaac was worn out after the excitement from the day, and slept well! He had such a wonderful 3rd birthday celebration with his family!

Guests included: Daddy and Mommy, Grampie and Grandmama, Grandad and Mimi, RG and Nanny, Uncle Steve and Aunt Jenny, Aunt Suzanne, Uncle Sterling and Aunt Karen, Tony and Amy, Chris and Amie, Brian and Kayce, Troy and Mary, Suzie and Harvey, and cousins Christopher, Jenna, Kaydon, and Jonathon.
