In the 99th percentile for what???

Isaac went for his 2 month check-up this past week, and you know what that mean....immunizations! YUCK! He did do well with them, but had some fever and increased tiredness and fussiness that day and the following day. After being poked over and over while in the hospital recently (when the nurses were trying to get the IV to work), this seemed like a piece of cake. He got a good report from the doctor. She said everything looks good, and that I can gradually try reintroducing dairy back into my diet. (Although, I tried last night and he seemed to have more problems with digestion and fussiness again). So, I might just need to lay off the dairy a while longer. The doctor also mentioned how strong he is and how well he holds his head up (when on his stomach). We were pleased with his report, and thankful that he is strong, healthy, and growing!

Isaac is really growing. He is 11 lbs and 11 oz, 22 inches long. He was in the 50% for his weight, 10-25% for length, and 10% for head circumference. His Honorary Aunt Amy said that his hair growth was in the 99th percentile! I have to agree. His hair is really growing. He is going to need a haircut soon. It's really unbelievable how much his hair is continuing to grow.
Since the last post, Isaac has had visits from both sets of grandparents. His Grampie and Grandmama took him to Cracker Barrel, where he enjoyed the rocking chairs! His Gran and Grandad helped put his swing together, which he seems to really like! He has also been to visit his cousins in town, Amie and Chris. They are expecting baby Jenna to arrive in early November, so Isaac got to try out Jenna's new swing. It put him to sleep instantly.

Isaac has seemed to feel much better (with the exception of the immunizations). He is much happier and more content throughout the day. He seems to really enjoy his swing, bouncer, and play mat much more. He finds objects and really focuses on them. He has intentionally started to reach for objects and tries to grasp objects more. It is so fun seeing him develop his motor skills!

Below are some odds and ends pictures:

His eyes say it all...."I can't believe you have me dressed like this!"

Isaac's best pick up line.... Well it's actually not a line, more of a gesture. Girls fall for it!

You can already see a fatherly demeanor in his expression. He already has the "bring her home by 9:00pm boy, or..." . The expression has a lot to do with the eye brows (a trait he picked up from Grandad Cletus!)

The hair!?
